Moving from cable, or even worse, a modem connection, to broadband...it's really something out of this world, at least according to most switchers. Obviously, when thousands of people say something, you tm net my mail to Aztec Adsl Modem Router at least, if not try to experience what they are talking about. In this case, Connection Speedometer only advice is to get into the broadband wagon as soon as possible! Why? Let's try to answer this question...

...with some interesting statistics from one of the most reliable broadband speed check sites on the Web, SpeedTest.net. The statistics we'll check are the following - download speed all over the world, top countries by download, and top countries by upload. Ready or not, here we go!

Looking at the rankings above, you're probably asking yourselves about the US or the UK. Well, when it comes to the broadband speed check part, they are both MIA. How's that possible? Don't ask, better take some test and see where you're standing. After all, a low country average doesn't mean you can't have Internet at the speed of light, right?

Good, now that we've gone through our broadband speed check, I think you should try checking some iMac Internet speed test, PC Internet speed Tmnetcommy or even some iPhone one(SpeedTest also has a special app for the iPhone, you have to give it a try!) to know where you stand.

At last, you don't have to worry about the speed you have, as long as you can use Google, Wikipedia, and other sites that are really useful(YouTube or MySpace aren't included in my "sites I must visit" list, really). All you have to do before being disappointed by some broadband speed check is to remember that it's not the bandwidth the one that really matters, it's what you make of it!
