The Internet has become a worldwide phenomenon in the last 10 to 15 years and in today's society nearly everyone owns a petaling jaya malaysia that is connected to broadband. Rewinding back to the late 90's the Internet was really taking off and with it multiplayer online games were starting to draw in crowds. One of these games was Quake II Arena a game that is still being played today although the popularity has slowly decreased as interest has spread to more recent, improved games. However back then ADSL wasn't available in many areas and it was a luxury if ISDN was available to many people. Instead gamers would play on a 56K modem generally with a cut off period of 2 hours and awful pings and lag. Still everyone was pretty much on the same playing field and this made Quake III one of the all mobile broadband online games to play.

Since those early days technology has improved dramatically and maybe we take it for granted now. With high speed broadband the doors of opportunity have opened tenfold and in recent years live TV streams, internet marketing services surfing and game play have all benefited from this new evolution of speed, something that was just a dream in the early 90's.

Computers will always need updating and within a few months of upgrading there will be a host of programs, games and software that will demand more than your current system spec offers. If you think about the late 1990's a 600 MHz processor, 128mb memory and 10 GB hard drive was something to be proud of and this was only 10 years ago, so compare that to the specs that can be seen today and it says it all. The demand for greater, more powerful computers has really taken off.
